Off-Road Hauling Truck Driver — From $17.00/hr

Our company in Wrens, GA is looking for a driver to haul materials between site locations using off-road hauling trucks. This is full-time, on-site work driving over rough, bumpy terrain in all weather.

Pay

• Starting from $17.00 per hour

What you'll haul

• Materials moved between various site locations

• Trucks operated off public highways, over uneven, bumpy ground

What you'll do

• Check your vehicle before every shift following company safety standards

• Fill out daily hauling reports and weight tickets accurately

• Inspect your equipment and handle routine preventive maintenance, flagging any defects or needed repairs to your supervisor or the truck shop

• Check all cab gauges and controls

• Note and report any mechanical issues and the repairs made

• Log and submit shop time, wait time, downtime and training hours to payroll

• Follow all safety rules and company procedures, report incidents right away, and attend safety meetings

• Wear required personal protective equipment for your work area

• Work independently and communicate clearly with your team

Requirements

• Able to climb, kneel, bend, reach, pull and lift

• Comfortable sitting for extended periods

• Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs

• Strong and agile enough to climb on and off the truck using three points of contact

• Able to work outdoors in all weather and around fuel, dust, lubricants and solvents

• Good use of both hands and feet

• High school diploma or GED preferred
