About this job
Our company, an employee-owned construction company in Dallas, TX, needs a Water Truck Driver to support paving operations. You'll run a 6x6 water truck across job sites, often on rough ground, keeping dust and materials under control.
What you'll do
- Drive a 6x6 water truck for construction and paving work
- Haul materials and equipment to and from job sites
- Handle driving over uneven, rough terrain
- Keep the truck in good shape, including basic upkeep like oil changes and tire rotation
- Flag any mechanical problems to your supervisor
- Stick to safety rules on site
Requirements
- Prior experience driving a 6x6 water truck
- Valid driver's license (CDL not required)
- Background in construction work
- Comfortable driving on rough terrain
- Strong communication skills
- Able to work solo or alongside a crew
- Able to follow directions and site procedures
