Non-CDL Passenger Driver — $15.75–$19.50/hr

Our company is looking for a Non-CDL driver in El Paso, TX to transport passengers safely and comfortably within the community. This is a full-time, year-round role for someone who takes pride in careful driving and strong customer service.

Pay

• $15.75-$19.50/hour

• Non-CBA position

What you'll do

• Follow your assigned routes and schedule while following traffic laws and safety rules

• Help passengers board, ride comfortably, and get off safely and on time

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks, flag any maintenance concerns, and keep the vehicle clean and safety-ready

• Follow company rules on seat belts, emergency situations, and other regulations

• Take on other duties as assigned

Requirements

• At least 21 years old

• Valid driver's license

• At least 3 years of driving experience, personal or professional

• Strong communication and customer service abilities

• Able to work varying or flexible shifts

• Must pass a DOT drug test and physical exam where applicable; note that DOT rules under 49 CFR Part 40 do not allow use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason

• Eligible to work in the United States without needing current or future sponsorship

• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen

Physical demands

• Works outdoors in all weather, sometimes alone or in remote spots, for essentially the entire shift

• Sits for 6-8 hours a day, with frequent long walks on uneven, sloped, or slippery ground

• Pushes or pulls items weighing 30-45 pounds occasionally, lifts up to 50 lbs with or without help, and occasionally bends, kneels, or crouches for low equipment or files

• Works around heavy traffic, dust, exhaust fumes, and noise
