About this job
Our company is looking for a Non-CDL OTR Delivery Driver to deliver and set up products at business and hospital locations in the Dallas, TX area, working closely with customers to get equipment installed and running smoothly.
Pay
- $83,455.00 per year
What you'll do
- Deliver, set up, and uncrate equipment at business and hospital sites
- Load and unload freight at customer locations
- Handle crating and removal carefully to avoid damage to product or property
- Coordinate delivery times with customers and update them on any schedule changes
- Help customer staff get products set up and running
- Stay on site (or nearby) while product demonstrations are completed
- Keep accurate daily logs, trip reports, and other required paperwork
- Keep track of and secure inventory, tools, and equipment assigned to you
- Follow DOT and OSHA rules, and handle other reasonable tasks as directed by management
Requirements
- High school diploma
- At least 1 year of customer service experience
- At least 1 year of verifiable driving experience in a box truck or straight truck
- CDL not required, but preferred
- Safe driving habits and professional conduct on the road
- Strong customer service skills with both customers and end users
