Non-CDL Delivery Driver — $20.00–$25.00/hr

Pioneer Materials West in Grand Junction, CO needs a delivery driver to haul and handle building materials for customers around town. You'll drive a flatbed or boom truck, load and unload product at job sites, and keep things running safely and on schedule.

Pay

• Typically $20.00 to $25.00 per hour, paid weekly

• Actual starting wage depends on the role, location, your background and experience

• Overtime available based on business needs; some roles may also offer bonuses, commissions or a car/fuel allowance

What you'll do

• Check your truck and trailer before each run to catch any issues

• Load building materials onto a flatbed or boom truck and unload them at both residential and commercial sites

• Get deliveries to the right spot as customers direct, keeping safety front and center

• Keep the paperwork current to stay compliant with state and federal trucking rules

• Report any accidents involving you or company equipment

• Handle materials weighing up to 80 lbs as you load and unload

• Work outdoors for most of your shift, including operating boom equipment and judging distances carefully while making drops

• Communicate clearly with customers and your team, and stay level-headed when job sites or deadlines get hectic

Requirements

• Valid driver's license (non-CDL role)

• Clean driving record for the past 3 years

• Familiarity with DOT rules

• High school diploma or GED

• Comfortable standing/driving roughly 40% of your shift and lifting up to 80 lbs regularly
