About this job
Our company needs a local flatbed CDL-A driver in Denver, CO to haul steel pipe, HVAC materials, equipment, and manufactured products to construction jobsites. You'll run a day-cab tractor on mostly local routes and pitch in on shipping, receiving, and shop tasks when you're not driving.
Pay
- $28-$40 an hour, plus benefits
Schedule
- Typical hours are about 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with some flexibility for earlier or later shifts and minimal weekend work
- Overtime isn't guaranteed and depends on workload
- Occasional overnight or interstate trips may come up, with per diem provided
- Tractors stay at RK's Lewiston facility; this is not a take-home truck
What you'll haul
- Steel pipe, HVAC equipment, and other manufactured materials delivered to active construction sites
- Flatbed loads that you'll tarp and secure yourself with chains and binders
- Shipping crews load the trailer and site crews unload it, so forklift or crane work isn't part of this job
Requirements

- High school diploma or GED
- At least 3 years of commercial driving experience; 5+ years preferred
- Hands-on flatbed experience, including tarping and securing loads with chains and binders
- Experience delivering to active construction jobsites and comfort driving in mountain terrain
- Clean enough record to meet RK's insurance eligibility and pass FMCSA Clearinghouse and pre-employment checks
- Able to lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 lbs and handle physical tasks like climbing, bending, and working at heights or in tight spaces
- Reliable transportation to RK's facility and a consistent attendance record
Benefits
- Paid time off plus 6 paid holidays
- Medical and dental insurance
