Non-CDL Box Truck Driver — Part-Time, From $20/hr

Our company, a nonprofit free food market in suburban Colorado, needs a dependable driver to run a box truck picking up and delivering food and supplies from grocery stores. No CDL is required, and this works well as a part-time, morning, or second job.

Pay

• From $20.00 per hour

• Expected hours: 15 to 20 per week

What you'll haul

• Food and supplies, picked up from grocery stores and delivered to the our company food market

Responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver loads as instructed, verifying accuracy

• Load and unload cargo, sort donated and purchased goods, break down pallets

• Pre-inspect the truck and report maintenance issues

• Help with vehicle registration tasks like emissions testing and mileage logs

• Fuel the truck and submit receipts

• Complete paperwork and may guide volunteer drivers on safety as needed

Requirements

• No CDL needed, but you must hold a valid unrestricted Colorado Class R driver's license

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience

• Knowledge of traffic laws and DOT rules

• Forklift/pallet jack/reach truck certification preferred

• Able to lift 50 lbs repeatedly

• Clean driving record and able to pass DOT screening
