About this job
Our company in Houston, TX is looking for a Box Truck Driver to run OTR routes. Freight is no-touch, and you'll be responsible for safe, on-time deliveries and good customer service along the way.
What you'll do
- Drive a box truck to deliver goods to assigned locations on time.
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Keep records of mileage, fuel use and any incidents on the road.
- Work with warehouse staff on loading and inventory.
- Handle customer questions and concerns during stops.
Pay
- $39,995.00 - $48,911.00 per year.
- Bonus pay after 90 days, starting between $1,200-$3,000.
What you'll haul
- No-touch freight in a box truck.
Requirements
- Valid non-CDL driver's license (box truck does not require a CDL).
- TWIC card or TSA clearance.
- Commercial driving or van driving experience preferred.
- Able to lift safely when needed and operate a pallet jack.
- Forklift experience is a plus but not required.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Familiarity with warehouse and logistics operations is helpful.
