Non-CDL Box Truck Driver — Local, Home Daily — Starting at $24.12/hr

CTDI needs a Non-CDL box truck driver in Buford, GA to handle local deliveries, returning home every day. You'll run a straight truck on nearby routes, with steady daytime hours and overtime available.

Pay

• Starts at $24.12 per hour

• Paid weekly, every Thursday

• Quarterly incentive bonus

Schedule

• First shift: 7:00 AM to 3:45 PM, Monday through Friday

• Typically 40-50 hours per week

• Overtime of 0-10 hours per week may be available

What you'll haul

• Small truck runs carrying cargo to and from local destinations

Requirements

• At least 1 year of recent experience driving a commercial delivery vehicle, or willingness to complete the company's driver training program

• A valid driver's license for your state of residence, with a clean record

• A DOT medical card, or the ability to get one within 10 days of starting

• Dependable, adaptable, and detail-oriented with good hand-eye coordination

• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs when needed, and comfortable sitting for long stretches

• Prior work in high-volume distribution, manufacturing, or technical service environments is a plus

What you'll do

• Check the truck before and after each trip

• Fill out inspection sheets, fuel and daily logs, bills of lading, trip records, and expense reports

• Make sure all cargo is loaded, secured, and transported safely

• Help load and unload freight

• Collect required signatures on shipping and receiving paperwork

• Keep an eye on truck maintenance and repair needs

• Follow DOT and warehouse safety rules
