Long Haul Truck Driver — $23.60–$34.90/hr

Our company is looking for a long haul truck driver to move freight over extended distances out of Calgary, AB. You'll handle the full trip from pickup to drop-off, keeping safety and timely delivery front and center.

Pay

• $23.60-$34.90 per hour

What you'll do

• Drive commercial trucks on long-distance routes, following traffic laws and safety rules

• Get freight from pickup to destination on schedule

• Check your vehicle before and after each trip to catch maintenance or safety concerns early

• Load and unload freight, using a forklift or other equipment when the job calls for it, and secure it properly

• Keep accurate records of hours driven, freight carried and delivery paperwork

• Stay in touch with dispatch, clients and teammates about schedules or problems on the road

• Handle minor repairs or troubleshooting to keep your truck running well

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver's license with a clean driving record

• Solid background driving commercial trucks, particularly on long-haul runs

• Comfortable and safe operating equipment like forklifts

• Familiar with freight handling and safety procedures

• Some mechanical know-how for basic repairs or diagnosing small vehicle issues

• Good organizational skills for tracking schedules and paperwork

• Physically able to manage loading and unloading, plus long stretches behind the wheel
