Log Truck Driver — $32.00-$36.00/hr

Our company in Edmonton, AB needs an experienced log truck driver to haul logs safely between sites, with work based in Edson or Athabasca. You'll handle pre- and post-trip checks, cargo securement and basic repairs to keep the truck running.

Pay

• $32.00-$36.00 per hour

• Full-time, permanent position

What you'll haul

• Logs, transported across various routes

• Loading, unloading and properly securing freight

Schedule

• Flexible hours required, including nights and weekends as needed

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL)

• At least 3 years of log trucking experience with manual transmission

• 2 years of logging experience required; 2 years of offroad and logging manual transmission experience preferred

• Clean driving record with proven commercial driving experience

• Comfortable keeping accurate records of hours, mileage and fuel use

• Basic vehicle and grease truck repair knowledge preferred

• Background in freight handling and logistics is a plus

• Good communication skills for working with dispatch and the team

• Secondary school education preferred

• French is not required

• Willing to commute to or relocate near Edmonton, AB; work is based in Edson or Athabasca
