Local Truck Driver — $1,500–$2,400/Week

Drive local routes for our company out of Savannah, GA, with the occasional longer run thrown in. Pay runs $1,500-$2,400 per week, and the freight you haul can vary by assignment.

What you'll haul

• Loads can include refrigerated freight, flatbed, tanker, or vehicle transport, depending on what you're assigned

• Some assignments may involve hazmat or other regulated freight

What the job involves

• Running tractor-trailer routes close to home, with occasional over-the-road trips mixed in

• Using GPS to find your way to pickups and drop-offs

• Loading, unloading, and securing freight correctly

• Checking your truck before and after runs and flagging any maintenance or safety issues

• Staying compliant with FMCSA, DOT, and hazmat rules where they apply

Requirements

• Background operating commercial or delivery vehicles

• Comfortable driving a manual transmission

• Tractor-trailer experience is a plus

• A bonus if you've handled reefer, flatbed, tanker, or auto-transport freight before

• Hazmat background helpful depending on the loads you're given

Pay

$1,500.00 - $2,400.00 per week
