Local Route Driver — $19-$20/hr Plus Bonuses

Our company in San Antonio is looking for a full-time Route Driver to handle daily deliveries to store locations, driving a vehicle 26 feet or smaller.

Pay

• $19.00 to $20.00 per hour, based on qualifications

What you'll do

• Load the truck in an organized way before each run

• Complete your delivery schedule, checking in with store staff and flagging any issues to management

• Coordinate with the Transportation Manager to keep routes running efficiently

• Follow correct invoicing steps

• Follow DOT rules as directed

• Keep your vehicle clean inside and out, and complete weekly vehicle inspections

• Help out with special projects when needed

What you'll need

• A valid driver's license

• Two years of experience driving a vehicle 26 feet or smaller is preferred but not required

• Ability to lift 55 lbs regularly, with occasional lifts over 70 lbs

• Able to be driving more than 70% of your shift

• A clean background check

• Self-motivated with good judgment, strong organization and time-management skills, and solid communication and customer-service abilities
