About this job
Our company is hiring a part-time driver in Greater Sudbury, ON to handle pick-up and delivery of packages on an assigned local route. You'll also check shipments for service compliance and interact with customers along the way.
Schedule
- Part-time, 5 shifts per week
- 4 weekday shifts (11:30 AM to 6:00 PM) plus one Saturday shift (8:30 AM to 4:30 PM)
- Rotating days off Monday through Friday, with Saturdays always worked
What you'll do
- Drive an assigned route delivering and picking up packages
- Verify shipments meet our company's service requirements
- Handle related customer service duties
- Be flexible with scheduling, including holiday work as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Able to lift up to 70 lbs and move packages as heavy as 150 lbs with proper equipment
- About one year of customer-facing work experience preferred
- Must pass a mandatory pre-placement driving assessment
- Strong communication, time management and customer service skills
- Comfortable multitasking under pressure
- Quebec-based candidates must be bilingual in French and English and meet specific licensing and driving record standards
