Local Package Delivery Driver — $20/hr

Our company is hiring a full-time permanent delivery driver to serve the Caledon, ON area, driving a package car to drop off and collect shipments at homes and businesses. You'll need a valid Ontario G license and a clean driving record, and must be able to lift packages weighing up to 70 lbs.

Pay

• Starts at $20.00 per hour, paid weekly by direct deposit every Friday

• Union collective agreement guarantees wage growth up to $42.33 per hour after 48 months on the job

Schedule

• Full-time, Tuesday through Saturday, with occasional Monday shifts as needed

• Shift runs roughly 9:15 AM to 5:15 PM, though start and end times can shift based on business needs

What you'll do

• Pick up and drop off our company packages at customer locations

• Load and unload the truck when needed

• Use GPS, maps and map books to find delivery addresses

• Log and track package delivery details

• Follow our company's defensive driving training and wear the required uniform

Requirements

• Valid Ontario G driver's license

• Able to lift up to 70 lbs without assistance (most packages weigh 25-35 lbs)

• Clean driving record: no violations in the last 12 months, no more than 2 in the last 36 months, no accidents and no more than 5 demerit points in the last 36 months

• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather and in a fast-paced warehouse setting
