Local Oilfield Truck Driver / Operator — $26.50–$36.50/hr

Our company, a local oilfield company in the Taber area, is looking for a combined driver and operator to run their vacuum and steam trucks. You'll handle combo-vacs, straight vacs, hydro vac units, boilers and scrubbers while keeping operations safe and efficient.

Pay

• $26.50-$36.50 per hour

Home time

• Scheduled days off, with weekend on-call during your shift

• This is a local position only; no camp job and no accommodations provided

What you'll do

• Run and service the vac and steam equipment

• Follow all required safety procedures

• Carry out routine checks and basic repairs on the trucks

• Load, unload and secure gear and materials

• Keep daily activity logs

• Work closely with the rest of the crew to keep things running smoothly

• Follow industry rules and company policy

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver's license with a clean record

• H2S Alive, first aid and confined space tickets are an asset; training provided for the right person

• Background operating heavy equipment and trucks in oilfield work

• Comfortable doing basic automotive repairs

• Solid grasp of safety practices around industrial truck work

• Good communicator who can work solo or with a team

• Physically able to handle tough working conditions

• Must already live locally
