About this job
Our company needs seasoned CDL-A drivers for a nighttime local run based in Franklin, MA. You'll sleep in your own bed every night and earn hourly pay instead of mileage.
Pay
- $28.00 per hour to start
- Time-and-a-half kicks in once you pass 50 hours
- Prior experience with other carriers may be credited toward your pay rate
- Earn a $100 bonus for passing inspections clean
Home time
- Every day is a home day
What you'll haul
- Freight is almost entirely drop and hook (90%) with 99% no-touch
- You'll run late-model automatic Freightliner and Volvo tractors equipped with Qualcomm E-logs plus safety tech like collision mitigation, lane departure alerts, and adaptive cruise control
Requirements
- Current Class A CDL
- A minimum of 18 months' verifiable, recent experience driving tractor-trailers
- No more than 2 violations on your record over the last 3 years, and nothing for excessive speeding
- At most 1 DOT-recordable accident within the past 5 years
- Clean of felony convictions for 5 years and no DUI/OUI within the last 10 years
