Local CDL-A Truck Driver — $28–$42/hr Guaranteed 40 Hours

This local driving job based near Taunton, MA runs weekday evening shifts delivering furniture to stores and warehouses, with no freight handling required.

Pay

• Starting hourly rate of $28.00, with overtime pay starting at $42.00

• Guaranteed minimum of 40 paid hours per week

• Holiday pay of $140.00 per day

• Average weekly gross around $1538.46, which works out to roughly $80,000 a year

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, starting at 5:00 PM

• Shifts run 9 to 10 hours

• You'll typically cover about 450 miles per run

What you'll haul

• Furniture deliveries to store locations and warehouses

• No-touch freight using automatic day cabs and box trailers

• You'll drop and swap demountable trailers at remote terminals

• Slip seating may apply, and equipment stays at the yard rather than going home with you

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL

• At least 6 months of trucking experience

• Good customer-service skills

• Your own transportation to get to and from the work site
