About this job
This is a local, home-daily delivery role running a day cab tractor-trailer with a reefer trailer, hauling frozen grocery products to stores across Massachusetts and Connecticut. The schedule runs Wednesday through Saturday, starting at 1:00 PM, with shifts lasting roughly 8 to 12 hours depending on the route.
Pay
- Starting at $30.00 per hour, paid weekly
- Overtime kicks in at 1.5x your rate after 40 hours in a week
Home time
- You're home every day
- This is a temp-to-hire position with a 4-day workweek
What you'll haul
- Frozen food products delivered to grocery store locations
- You'll handle touch freight, using an electric pallet jack to move product into store backrooms
Requirements
- Class A CDL with at least 24 months of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Comfortable driving a day cab tractor-trailer with a reefer trailer
- Willing to handle touch freight and operate an electric pallet jack
- Available Wednesday through Saturday starting at 1:00 PM
- Able to pass a DOT physical, drug screen, and background check
- No DUIs or DWIs in the past 5 years, and no more than 3 moving violations in the past 36 months
