J.B. Hunt needs intermodal truck drivers in Bethlehem, PA for local runs with home time every day. You'll work with company-owned equipment and get express railyard gate access plus onsite maintenance support.

Pay

This role runs on an activity-based pay plan, rewarding safe and efficient work. Over the past six to twelve months, drivers in this position have averaged $87,000 to $89,000 a year. Pay components include:

• $0.505 to $0.58 per mile

• Detention: $20 to $25 per hour

• Drop and hook: $35 per stop

• Live load or unload: $50 per stop

• Driver-handled load or unload: $45 per stop

• Hazmat freight: $40 per load

• Refrigerated freight: $40 per load

• Crosstown moves: $25 per load

• Driver assist: $25 per load

• Empty moves: $25 per load

• Empty search time: $20 per hour

• Mechanical breakdown: $20 per hour

• Rail delay: $20 per hour

• Refused delivery: $35 per load

• Truck order not used: $20

• Waiting on a truck: $20 per hour

• Repositioning a tractor: $20 per hour

• Overweight rework: $20 per hour

• Classroom safety sessions and round tables: $40 per hour

• Yard checks: $20 per hour

Your actual annual earnings can vary based on how many activities you complete, your training, paid breaks, any endorsements you hold, how long you've been with the company, the equipment you run and how many days a week you work. You may also qualify for performance or profitability-based safety bonuses.
