Local Heavy Truck Driver — $24.00–$28.00/hr

Our company is hiring a Heavy Truck Driver for local deliveries and pickups in Concord, Ontario. This full-time role suits a safety-focused driver with a few years of Canadian heavy truck experience.

Pay

• $24.00-$28.00 per hour

• Overtime paid when you work extra hours

What you'll do

• Drive heavy trucks safely under company and provincial rules

• Handle local pickups and deliveries

• Do pre-trip and post-trip checks on your vehicle

• Keep logs, delivery paperwork and other records up to date

• Secure and handle cargo properly

• Follow Ontario's Highway Traffic Act and other safety rules

• Flag any mechanical issues right away

• Keep your truck clean and roadworthy

• Treat customers and clients professionally

Requirements

• At least 3 years driving heavy trucks in Canada

• Valid Ontario AZ or DZ license, depending on the role

• Clean or satisfactory driver's abstract

• Solid understanding of Ontario roads and traffic laws

• Good safety record and safe driving habits

• Dependable, on time, and takes responsibility seriously

• Willing to work overtime as needed

• Local or regional delivery background is a plus
