About this job
Our company in Sudbury, ON is looking for local equipment operators to run industrial service trucks, including vacuum, high pressure, combo and steamer units. This is a local role for applicants within about a one-hour drive of Sudbury.
Pay
- $30-34.00 per hour, depending on your qualifications and experience
What you'll do
- Drive, operate and maintain vacuum units and related equipment
- Set up and rig equipment in and out on site
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip checks, on-site risk assessments and other paperwork
- Help with general shop and labor tasks when needed
- Work in confined spaces using a Supplied Breathing Air Apparatus
- Follow all safety practices and keep health and safety as the top priority at all times
Requirements
- Class DZ license, minimum
- Must be able to drive a manual transmission
- Experience in industrial or construction work
- Previous experience operating a vacuum, combo or high pressure truck
- Able to work with minimal supervision as part of a safety-focused team
