Local DZ Delivery Driver — $25/hr, Ottawa

Mikhaiel Logistics is growing and opening a new Ottawa / Casselman location. They need a dependable DZ driver for local deliveries in and around Ottawa, including some hands-on freight handling.

What you'll do

• Drive a DZ truck on local delivery routes, getting freight there on time and in good condition

• Carry out pre-trip and post-trip inspections on your vehicle

• Operate a tailgate (liftgate) to load and unload

• Hand bomb freight when the job calls for it

• Keep delivery paperwork accurate and up to date

• Follow company safety rules and Ontario transportation regulations

Schedule

Shifts run Monday to Friday, generally between 5:00 AM and 5:00 PM, and typically last 10 to 12 hours. Hours can shift depending on business needs.

Pay

$25.00 per hour, paid biweekly, with a raise once you finish the probationary period.

Requirements

• Valid DZ licence

• At least 2 years of commercial driving experience (preferred)

• Clean CVOR and driver's abstract

• Comfortable working a tailgate

• Solid understanding of Ministry of Transportation of Ontario rules

• Dependable, on time, and able to handle the work without close supervision

• You'll need to submit your driver's abstract when you apply
