Local Delivery Truck Driver (CDL-A/B or Non-CDL) — Home Daily

FreshPoint Pittsburgh, a Sysco Company, is hiring CDL A, CDL B, and Non-CDL drivers for local fresh produce delivery routes out of Warrendale, PA. You'll be home daily, driving a box truck on early morning shifts with hands-on freight handling and customer interaction.

Pay

• CDL A: $26.50/hour plus incentives, expected first year $75,000-$83,000+, paid benefits

• CDL B: $23.50/hour plus incentives, expected first year $65,000-$73,000, paid benefits

• Non-CDL: $21.50/hour plus incentives, expected first year $61,000-$68,000, paid benefits (must obtain MEC card before offer)

What you'll haul

Fresh produce delivered via box truck on assigned daily routes with multiple stops, using a cross-dock pickup and return model.

Responsibilities

• Run routes efficiently and meet route time goals

• Load and unload product by hand or hand cart, including in various weather conditions

• Lift and move product weighing 1-75 lbs, occasionally up to 100 lbs

• Verify orders and get customer signatures

• Report discrepancies, shorts, and complaints to management

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections per DOT rules

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED

• About one year of route delivery or straight truck experience preferred

• Valid CDL preferred; Non-CDL applicants need an MEC card before starting

• Sufficient English skills to meet DOT communication requirements

• Able to climb on and off the truck, work in confined spaces, and handle frequent bending and lifting
