Local Delivery Driver — Mon–Fri Mornings, $23.05–$25.05/hr

Our company Canada needs a delivery driver to run office-supply deliveries on an assigned route out of their Mississauga location. You'll drive a company-supplied vehicle and equipment, Monday through Friday starting at 6:30 am until all orders are dropped off.

• $23.05 to $25.05 per hour

Schedule

• Monday to Friday, morning shift starting at 6:30 am and running until deliveries are complete

Location

• Based out of 550 Pendant Dr, Mississauga, ON L5T 2W6

What you'll do

• Check your paperwork and complete a pre-trip inspection before heading out, flagging any mechanical issues to your supervisor

• Drop off products at customer accounts and pick up returns, getting signatures and filling out the required forms

• Handle customer concerns on the spot and loop in your supervisor on anything unresolved

• Follow safe driving practices and keep your vehicle clean

Requirements

• At least 21 years old

• At least 1 year of experience driving a straight truck 16 ft or longer

• Valid driver's license with a clean 5-year driving record and no major moving violations under provincial law

• Able to lift up to 70 pounds without help; hand truck or dolly experience is a plus

• Comfortable navigating the local metro area, reading maps and using mobile proof-of-delivery devices

• Strong customer service, communication, problem-solving, time management and organizational skills

• Able to work independently with little supervision in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment

• Physically able to sit, stand, walk, climb, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl and push or pull for extended periods, and to drive in all weather and road conditions
