About this job
Our company Electric Wholesale in Sarnia, ON needs a delivery driver to get orders to customers safely and on time each day. You'll handle pickups, drop-offs and payment collection while keeping the truck and the freight in good shape.
What you'll do
- Load and unload the truck
- Check that products arriving and leaving are undamaged
- Pick up and drop off items at customer locations
- Plan routes using maps or other trip tools
- Complete a pre-trip vehicle inspection
- Log trip details such as mileage, fuel costs and any problems
- Confirm correct customer names and addresses, and keep dispatch updated for extra pickups
- Take on other tasks as assigned by management
Requirements
- Valid G license
- Clean driver's abstract and CVOR
- Experience operating 3-ton, 5-ton and flatbed trucks
- Strong time management and accuracy in following directions
- Comfortable handling cash/payments
- Reliable, responsible and customer-focused
