Local Delivery Driver — $23.40–$25.40/hr

Our company Canada is hiring a local delivery driver to run an assigned route delivering office supplies to business customers in Mississauga, ON, using a company-provided vehicle. You'll handle deliveries, returns and paperwork, and work a day shift at an hourly wage of $23.40-$25.40.

Pay

• $23.40-$25.40 an hour, paid on a day shift schedule

What you'll haul

• Office supplies delivered to our company customer accounts on a set route, using a straight truck of 16 feet or longer that our company provides along with all needed equipment

Responsibilities

• Gather paperwork and complete a pre-trip inspection before each run, flagging any mechanical issues to your supervisor

• Hand off products and pick up returns, getting signatures and finishing the paperwork

• Resolve customer concerns on the spot and loop in your supervisor on anything unresolved

• Keep the vehicle clean and follow safe driving and work habits

Requirements

• At least 21 years old

• At least one year behind the wheel of a straight truck 16 feet or longer

• A valid driver's license and a clean five-year abstract, with no major moving violations

• Comfortable lifting up to 70 pounds on your own, ideally with hand truck or dolly experience

• Familiar with the local metro area, able to read maps and use a mobile proof-of-delivery scanner

• Strong customer service, communication and time-management skills, with the ability to work independently under time pressure
