Local Courier Driver — $23.28/hr, Seasonal

Our company is hiring a seasonal courier driver in Gravenhurst, ON for a temporary role lasting up to 12 weeks, depending on business needs.

Pay

• $23.28 per hour

Schedule

• Two rotating shifts: Saturday, Monday and Tuesday, or Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, both 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

• You must be available to work Saturdays

What you'll do

• Drive an assigned route picking up and dropping off packages

• Load your van and plan your route for efficient service

• Check that packages meet our company's shipping standards and have correct labels and paperwork

• Use a computerized system to track and dispatch deliveries

• Answer customer questions about shipping services, including cross-border requirements

• Occasionally help load or unload aircraft or containers, depending on your location

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED

• No prior experience necessary, though a year of customer service work is a plus

• A full, valid Class G driver's license (a G2 license is not accepted)

• A driving record with no more than two infractions or accidents in the past 24 months

This is a seasonal courier position based at the Gravenhurst (YGRA) location.
