About this job
Our company is hiring a seasonal courier in Gravenhurst, ON for up to 12 weeks, picking up and dropping off packages on an assigned local route.
Pay
- $23.28 per hour
Schedule
- Shift 1: Saturday, Monday and Tuesday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
- Shift 2: Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
- You must be available to work Saturdays
What you'll do
- Drive a route collecting and dropping off packages
- Check shipments to make sure they meet company shipping standards
- Load your van and plan an efficient route
- Keep tracking and dispatch systems updated with accurate information
- Answer customer questions about FedEx services
- Help with loading or unloading aircraft or containers when needed
Requirements
- Full valid Class G license (a G2 license will not be accepted)
- High school diploma or GED
- No driving experience required; a year of customer service experience is a plus
- No more than two violations or accidents on your record in the past 24 months
