About this job
Our company is looking for dependable drivers to handle local delivery routes, dropping off food and supply orders at customer sites and helping build strong relationships along the way. This role uses a Class C license, so a commercial driver's license isn't required, though CDL holders may occasionally be asked to run a tractor-trailer.
What you'll haul
- Meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, dry goods and other supplies delivered to assigned customer stops
Home time
- Most drivers in this role run daily routes, getting you home each day
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Pass a pre-employment drug test
- Hold a Class C / Standard Operator driver's license
- Speak and read English well enough to handle road signs, official requests and paperwork
- Able to lift, push or move items averaging 40-60 pounds, occasionally up to 100 pounds
