Our company is hiring a local route driver to run set delivery routes out of Marshall, MN, operating a mix of equipment. Expect hands-on freight work along with your driving duties.
Pay
- $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
What you'll haul
- A mix of equipment: reefer, flatbed, and tanker trailers
- Some loads may involve hazardous materials, handled under proper safety procedures
What the job involves
- Running assigned delivery routes while staying compliant with FMCSA and DOT rules
- Loading and unloading freight by hand or with a forklift
- Planning and adjusting your route using GPS
- Completing pre-trip vehicle checks
- Logging deliveries accurately and staying in touch with dispatch
Requirements
- Valid CDL with the endorsements needed for the equipment you'll run
- Prior delivery or logistics experience preferred; time hauling reefer loads is a plus
- Familiarity with FMCSA, DOT, and hazmat rules
- Able to drive a manual transmission
- Clean driving history and the physical ability to handle freight
