Local CDL Driver — No-Touch Freight, $27.60–$42.15/hr

Our company needs a local driver to haul dry van and reefer freight across Minnesota, Wisconsin and South Dakota. You'll run a Freightliner Cascadia day cab on dedicated routes with consistent, no-touch freight for regular customers.

Pay

• $27.60 to $42.15 per hour

• Overtime kicks in after 40 hours a week

• Typical workweek runs 54 to 62 hours

What you'll haul

• Dry van and refrigerated (reefer) trailers

• No-touch freight

• Some loads may involve hazardous materials, handled per FMCSA rules

Routes

• Local routes within Minnesota, Wisconsin and South Dakota

Requirements

• Valid CDL with endorsements matching the equipment (hazmat and tanker endorsements preferred, or willingness to get them)

• Solid background in commercial truck, delivery or route driving

• Comfortable working with dry van and refrigerated trailers

• Up to speed on FMCSA and DOT rules, including hazardous materials regulations

• Able to plan efficient local routes using GPS

• Clean driving record and a strong commitment to safety on the road

Daily duties

• Drive safely and keep the truck DOT and FMCSA compliant

• Do pre-trip and post-trip inspections

• Stay in contact with dispatch on delivery timing, route changes and schedules
