Local CDL Driver — Home Daily

Our company is looking for a local CDL driver based in Houston, TX to handle store deliveries and get you home every day. You'll run a tractor-trailer hauling refrigerated goods to stores, with no overnight trips required.

What you'll haul

• Temperature-controlled products requiring monitored settings

• Store delivery loads picked up from vendors

What you'll do

• Log your driving hours as required by DOT rules

• Keep your truck and trailer serviced on schedule

• Handle paperwork for each load, including bills of lading

• Watch over and secure cargo throughout the trip

• Unload freight at store stops

• Confirm product counts match what was loaded at pickup

Home time

You'll be home every day.

Requirements

• At least 21 years old

• Minimum 2 years and 100,000 miles behind the wheel

• Clean 3-year driving record, no more than one moving violation in that span and none in the past year

• No lifetime history of DWI, DUI, or felony convictions

• Never had a license, permit, or driving privilege suspended or revoked

• Must pass a DOT physical, drug screen, and background check

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Comfortable working nights, weekends, and holidays, up to 70 hours a week under DOT limits

• Able to lift 25-75 lbs occasionally and handle standing, climbing, and bending
