Local CDL Delivery Driver (Hazmat) — $28/hr, Home Daily

Our company is hiring a local delivery driver to haul compressed gas cylinders to business customers around Garland, TX. You'll drive a company-provided straight or box truck, manage cylinder loads, and build relationships with the accounts you serve, all while getting home every day.

Pay

• $28 per hour

• Chance to earn two quarterly bonuses

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, day shift

• Home daily

What you'll haul

• Compressed gas cylinders delivered and picked up at customer and company locations

• You'll load, unload, and track cylinders on a manifest, getting customer signatures, and bring back empty, rejected, or unsold cylinders for refilling

• You may also pitch in with warehouse or dock work when needed

Requirements

• Valid Texas Class A or B CDL with Hazmat and air brake endorsements

• Valid DOT medical card

• At least 21 years old

• One year of CDL driving experience within the past 5 years, or a certificate from a truck driving school completed in the last 12 months

• Clean driving history: no more than two traffic violations or two at-fault accidents in the past 3 years (or one of each)

• Able to read safety data sheets and follow DOT, EPA, FMCSA, FDA, and OSHA rules

• Able to lift 25-75 lbs regularly, and up to 125+ lbs occasionally with equipment help

• Able to handle hazardous freight for shifts up to 8 hours, with frequent bending

• Comfortable working independently under deadline pressure

• Willing to obtain forklift certification
