About this job
This is a full-time, temporary driving role delivering alcoholic beverages to restaurants and retailers in the Stratford, CT area. You'll need a valid CDL and a strong safety mindset to keep deliveries on time and accurate.
Pay
- $20.00 to $21.00 per hour
What you'll haul
- Liquor products, including cases and kegs weighing up to 50 lbs, delivered to restaurants and retail customers
Responsibilities
- Drive company vehicles safely, following DOT rules and internal policy
- Load and unload product and confirm order accuracy against invoices
- Collect payment and customer signatures when needed
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks
- Keep delivery logs and inspection paperwork up to date
- Help out with warehouse tasks when required
- Work Saturdays as scheduled
Requirements
- Valid Commercial Driver's License and current DOT medical card
- At least 1 year of commercial driving experience, beverage or distribution background preferred
- Clean driving history, and must pass a background check and drug screening
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Strong attention to detail, safety focus, and good customer communication skills
