What you'll haul

• General freight in a box truck on local routes

• Occasional regulated or hazardous cargo, handled per applicable rules

Responsibilities

• Drive local delivery routes while following DOT and FMCSA rules

• Load, secure and unload cargo using safe handling methods

• Use GPS to plan stops, keep delivery paperwork current, and flag any delays, truck trouble or freight problems

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver's license and qualifications for the vehicle and cargo assigned

• Comfortable with manual transmission if the truck requires it

• Understanding of DOT/FMCSA rules and safe loading practices

• Prior delivery driving or cargo handling experience is a plus, as is hazmat exposure
