About this job
Our company in Meadville, PA is looking for a local delivery driver to bring propane fuel to homes and businesses, with no overnight travel. You'll be trained and supported to run a safe, efficient route while representing the company to customers.
What you'll do
- Drive a fuel delivery truck on local routes and return home each night
- Check and inspect your vehicle, logging anything that needs maintenance
- Handle customer accounts and inventory using a handheld terminal
- Deliver strong, friendly service to every customer
Home time
This is a local route and you'll be home every night.
Requirements
- Class B CDL with HAZMAT, tanker, and air brake endorsements (if you don't have the endorsements yet, the company will train you and give you time to get them)
- Valid Medical Examiner's Certificate for interstate operation
- Able to lift and pull equipment weighing 50 to 75 lbs
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather
- Strong customer service skills
- Must meet English language proficiency standards under 49 CFR 391.11(b)(2), including reading road signs, responding to official questions, and completing reports in English
