Local CDL-B Dump Truck Driver — $25–$35/hr

Our company, a family-owned company in North Kansas City, MO, is looking for a full-time CDL-B dump truck driver to haul materials to construction job sites around the Kansas City area.

What you'll do

• Haul gravel, dirt, asphalt and other construction materials to job sites in a CDL-B dump truck

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections, checking mechanical condition, fluids and safety gear

• Work with site supervisors and equipment operators to keep deliveries and site work running safely

• Keep records of deliveries, fuel use, maintenance and safety reports

• Follow DOT and company safety rules

• Stay in communication with the team on schedules and any safety or operational issues

Pay

$25.00 to $35.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Valid CDL-B with a clean driving record

• At least 1.5 years of CDL driving experience

• Manual transmission endorsement preferred

• Prior dump truck or construction/heavy equipment experience preferred

• Basic mechanical know-how and ability to do simple truck maintenance checks preferred

• Familiarity with construction site safety practices

• Good communication skills and a team mindset

• Must have your own way to get to and from the shop

• No active drug and alcohol Clearinghouse violations
