Local CDL-A Yard Driver — $24.00-$25.50/hr, Home Daily

Work as a yard driver for our company in Kansas City, MO, shuttling trailers within a single yard location all shift long. You stay off the highway, skip customer stops, and get a steady, repeatable routine with a schedule you can count on.

What the job involves

• Repositioning trailers around the yard and between dock doors

• Drop and hook work, with no freight handling

• Pre-trip and post-trip inspections on each shift

• Staying in contact with dispatch and yard staff

• Keeping accurate logs and paperwork

• Following company safety rules

Schedule and home time

You're home every day, working in one yard with no multi-stop routes or long-haul driving involved.

Pay

• Starting pay of $24.00 per hour, up to $25.50 per hour

• Extra $1.50 shift differential depending on your schedule

• Overtime pay after 40 hours

• Paid weekly

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL

• Current DOT medical card

• Clean driving history

• Prior experience handling tractor-trailers

• Comfortable working outdoors in any weather

• Able to climb in and out of the truck repeatedly during your shift
