About this job
Our company in Katy, TX needs a local CDL-A driver for drop and hook freight work, with nightly home time and weekends free. This is a 1099 contractor position paid weekly.
Pay
- $1,500.00 - $1,900.00 per week, with typical weekly earnings reported between $1,700 and $2,000
- Paid weekly by direct deposit
Home time
- Home every day, with weekends off
- Consistent, year-round local routes
What you'll haul
- Drop and hook loads on local routes
- Chassis trailer experience is a plus
Requirements
- Current CDL Class A
- Valid TWIC card
- At least 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Comfortable driving a manual transmission
- Hazmat endorsement is a plus but not required
- Clean driving record: no DUI in the last 10 years, no moving violations in the last 3 years, no reckless driving in the last 5 years, no failed drug tests in the last 10 years, no open criminal cases or felony convictions in the last 10 years
- Able to pass DOT drug screening and participate in random testing
