Local CDL-A Truck Driver — Home Daily, From $36.30/hr

Our company is hiring a local CDL-A truck driver in Central Point, OR who gets home every day. Experienced drivers can start at $36.30 an hour.

Pay

• Experienced drivers can start at $36.30 an hour

• This role is classified as Motor Carrier Act Exempt

Home time

• You'll be home daily

What you'll haul

• You'll run a tractor-trailer setup that includes doubles and triples configurations

• Loads may include both hazardous and non-hazardous materials

What the job involves

• Driving safely for up to 11 straight hours in all kinds of weather

• Loading and unloading freight yourself

• Talking with customers and helping generate new business leads

• Climbing in and out of the cab, lifting items up to 50 lbs regularly (sometimes over 75 lbs), and operating a forklift

• Working a flexible schedule of 12 to 14 hours a day, which can include days, nights, or weekends

Requirements

• Must be 21 or older with a valid Class A CDL and a clean driving history

• Need to get hazmat, tank vehicle, and doubles/triples endorsements within your first 90 days (or already have them)

• Must pass a DOT drug screen with no positive results or refusals in the past 3 years

• Need a current DOT medical card, or you'll complete a company-paid physical

• Forklift experience is a plus

• Must be able to read and speak English well enough to handle road signs, official questions, and paperwork
