Local CDL-A Delivery Driver — $31.44–$34.93/hr

Our company is hiring a CDL-A delivery driver in Portland, OR to handle local food and beverage routes starting early in the morning. This is 100% touch freight, so you'll be loading and unloading product by hand throughout your shift.

Pay

• Base rate between $31.44 and $34.93 per hour, depending on experience, skills and location

• Top earners can reach $34.93 per hour, plus overtime pay

Schedule

• Monday through Saturday

• Start times between 2am and 4am

• Based out of Portland, OR

What you'll do

• Drive safely to customer locations on highways and city streets

• Back into tight loading docks

• Unload goods using a hand truck, ramp, or by hand, placing them where customers need them

• Confirm deliveries and collect signatures

• Handle payments or collections on some stops

• Complete safety checks before and after each trip

Physical demands

• Repeatedly lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling 20 to 80+ pounds of product per shift

• Working outdoors in all weather, with 10 or more stops per shift

• Entering coolers and freezers as cold as 0 degrees

• Frequent bending, climbing, reaching, twisting and standing

Requirements

• At least 21 years old

• Valid Class A CDL with required endorsements and DOT qualifications

• At least 6 months of commercial driving experience in any industry, or 3 months in food or beverage delivery

• Comfortable operating a manual transmission (preferred, sometimes required)

• Able to read and speak English well enough to understand traffic signs, respond to official requests and complete reports

• Registration with the FMCSA Clearinghouse database
