About this job
J.B. Hunt is looking for local Class A drivers for its Dedicated Contract Services unit in the Fredericksburg, VA area. You haul freight for a single customer and are home every day.
Pay
- Activity-based pay plan; average yearly gross is $96,200, and the top 10% of earners reach $102,000 per year
- Daily show/work pay of $350 per day
- Attendance bonus of $100 per week
- Holiday pay of $250 per day
- New hire training pays $250 per day; safety training pays $20 per hour
- Safety bonuses and incentives may be available
- Actual earnings depend on activities completed, training, paid breaks, endorsements, tenure, equipment and days worked each week
Home time
- Home every day
What the job involves
- Delivering freight to one dedicated customer
- Regular contact with customer staff and with the public at fuel stops and rest areas
Requirements
- Class A license
- Pre-qualification through the online form or by phone
