Local CDL-A Truck Driver — Home Daily, $29.45–$31.45/hr

Our company is looking for Class A CDL drivers to run a local private fleet out of Erie, PA 16507, delivering tailgate freight to Walgreens stores across NE Pennsylvania and Western NY. You'll sleep in your own bed every night on this route.

Pay

• $29.45 to $31.45 hourly, set by which route you run

• Typical weekly take-home of $1650-$1750, putting you around $85K-$90K+ a year

• Guaranteed minimum each week of 40 hours at your hourly rate

• Your rate and guarantee both step up at the 6, 12, and 18 month marks

• Relay and drop & hook assignments pay out per mile instead

• Checks issued weekly

Home time

You're back home each day. Expect a Tuesday-Saturday workweek with early starts, either 4 am or 5 am.

What you'll haul

Running a day cab, you'll handle store and peddle-route deliveries, tailgating floor-loaded freight off a roller system. Some weeks you may also pick up relay or drop & hook assignments. Routes and tasks shift from week to week, so flexibility matters here.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of documented Class A driving experience, or 6 months plus a diploma from an accredited CDL program

• 21 or older

• Comfortable lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying loads up to 50 pounds

• Clean compliance with all DOT standards

• A doubles endorsement helps your application

• Ready to make multiple stops for pickups and drop-offs through the day
