Local CDL-A Truck Driver — Home Daily, $27.35/hr

Our company in Conyers, GA is looking for a solo CDL-A driver for a local shuttling and yard hostler route. You'll be home every day, hauling no-touch dry van freight with live load and unload.

Pay

• $27.35 per hour, paid weekly

• Typically $1300 or more per week

• 45+ hours per week

• Paid training

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, with alternating Saturdays and occasional Sundays

• Start time around 6 AM

• Local, home daily route

What you'll haul

• Day cab and yard tractors

• 48' and 53' dry van trailers

• No-touch freight, live load and unload

• Trucks are 36 months old or newer, with 24/7 roadside support and access to over 800 maintenance facilities nationwide

Requirements

• At least 21 years old

• Pass our company's drug test, background check, motor vehicle check, DOT physical and road test

• Hold the correct CDL and endorsements for the role

• Verifiable Class A tractor-trailer experience: 9 months in the last 3 years, OR 2 years in the last 5 years, OR 5 years in the last 10 years

• Able to follow written and verbal instructions and apply relevant rules and procedures

• Some assignments may require extra screening, such as employment or education checks, MVR review, a road test, or customer-specific badging

Responsibilities

• Follow applicable federal, state and company safety rules and standards

• Spot and address safety hazards

• Keep accurate logs and records

• Help load or unload freight when the customer requires it

• Other duties as assigned
