Local CDL-A Truck Driver — Home Daily, $24/hr

Our company is hiring a local CDL-A truck driver based in Buffalo, NY. The job pays $24 an hour, with weekly pay and you are home daily. Drivers handle drop-and-hook work and need some familiarity with reefer units.

Pay

• $24 per hour, paid weekly

What you'll do

• Drive a commercial truck safely along planned routes so deliveries arrive on time

• Check the truck before and after each trip and take care of minor repairs when needed

• Keep accurate hours-of-service and vehicle service records

• Secure freight, and handle delivery paperwork and receipts

• Tell dispatch and management quickly about delays, accidents or other problems

• Watch fuel use, keep the truck clean, and give customers good service at pickup and delivery

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL and a current DOT medical certificate

• Two years of verifiable commercial driving experience

• Clean driving record for the past 3 years: no DUIs, no reckless or careless driving, and no more than 2 at-fault DOT reportable accidents; no more than 2 speeding tickets in the last year

• Working knowledge of Federal Motor Carrier Regulations, including inspections, driver rules, hours of service and drug and alcohol testing

• Able to drop and hook trailers and to run reefer units

• Comfortable driving at night or in day, in traffic and bad weather, up to 11 hours a day on a flexible schedule
