Local CDL-A Truck Driver — Home Daily, $2000+/Week

Our company is looking for a solo Class A CDL driver in Lewiston, ME to run local routes into Maine and New Hampshire, with home time every day. You'll drive a day cab pulling a 48' or 53' reefer trailer, hauling touch freight (eggs), and you'll need to check load securement.

Pay

• Weekly paychecks totaling $2000 or more

• Mileage pay of $0.51 per mile, with 1700 to 2000 miles expected per week

• Stop pay of $23.00 per stop, with 50 to 55 stops expected per week

• A $250 safety bonus paid out four times a year, once each quarter

• A $250 customer service bonus paid out four times a year, once each quarter

• Paid training included

Schedule

• Works Sunday through Friday

• Start times fall between 2:00 AM and 3:30 AM

• Route is local with daily home time

What you'll haul

• Solo runs to Maine and New Hampshire

• Day cab tractor paired with a 48' or 53' refrigerated trailer

• Touch freight, hauling eggs, with attention to proper load securement

• Trucks are no older than 36 months, backed by 24/7 roadside help and access to more than 800 maintenance locations nationwide

Requirements

• At least 21 years old

• Able to pass a drug screening, background check, motor vehicle record review, and DOT physical through our company

• Able to pass a road test administered by our company

• Holds a valid Class A CDL with the right endorsements for this role

• Verifiable tractor-trailer experience: 9 months in the last 3 years, or 2 years in the last 5 years, or 5 years in the last 10 years

• Comfortable following spoken and written directions and applying relevant laws, rules and procedures

• Some assignments may involve extra screening, such as employment and education checks or customer-specific badging requirements

Responsibilities

• Staying compliant with federal, state and company safety rules and standards

• Spotting and addressing safety hazards on the job

• Keeping accurate logs and records

• Helping load or unload freight when the customer requires it

• Taking on other duties as assigned
