Local CDL-A Truck Driver — Home Daily, $0.73–$0.80/mile

Our company needs local Class A CDL drivers based in Commerce, CA. You run no-touch, drop-and-hook freight around the greater Los Angeles area and are home every night. New CDL grads are welcome.

Pay

• Paid per mile at $0.73 to $0.80, depending on your experience.

• The company puts the average at $1,600 to $1,800 a week, roughly $83,200 to $93,600 a year if you drive 52 full-time weeks. That yearly figure is an estimate, not a guarantee.

• You get an automatic $0.01 per mile raise every 12 months.

• A $2,000 sign-on bonus is paid after 30 days on the job.

• Pay lands by direct deposit every Friday.

The job

• Full-time local work out of Commerce, CA, 5 to 6 days a week with Monday through Saturday dispatch.

• About 2,190 to 2,250 miles per week on average.

• No unloading and no dock work, and no overnight trips.

• Lanes cover Commerce and greater Los Angeles, with frequent stops in Bell Gardens, Montebello, Downey and Vernon.

• You drive an assigned CDL-A day cab.

What you'll do

• Inspect the truck before and after every shift.

• Keep your ELD logs accurate and stay within hours-of-service limits.

• Follow DOT rules and company safety policies, and stay in touch with dispatch.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL in good standing, and you must be 21 or older.

• No driving experience needed.

• Minor violations are looked at one by one.

• You must pass a DOT physical and a drug screen and be authorized to work in the US.
