Local CDL-A Truck Driver — Home Daily, $0.70/Mile

EVO is looking for a local CDL-A driver in Fort Stockton, TX to run freight routes and be home every day. You'll drive 1,600–2,000 miles per week on a consistent local schedule.

Pay

• $0.70 per mile

• Paid orientation

• Paid quarterly safety training

• Driver referral bonus program: earn up to $1,000 per referral

Schedule

• Full-time, home daily

• Shifts available any day Monday through Sunday

• 4-5 days of work per week

• About 400 miles per day

Requirements

• Valid CDL-A with at least 1 year of relevant driving experience

• Clean MVR/PSP and ability to pass a criminal background check

• Able to lift 50 lbs overhead and handle bending/lifting with legs, arms and back

• Able to climb in and out of the truck using three points of contact

• Able to get onto the catwalk behind the cab and stay steady while hooking up the trailer

• Able to push and pull wheeled carts over 100 lbs

• Able to bend to release the fifth-wheel lock and crank the landing gear by hand

• Able to bend down and check under the trailer to confirm the pin is locked into the fifth-wheel

• Able to sit and drive for at least 4 hours straight
