About this job
EVO is looking for a local CDL-A driver to run freight routes out of Fort Stockton, TX. You'll be home every day while covering 1,600-2,000 miles a week.
Pay
- $0.70 per mile
- Paid orientation
- Paid quarterly safety training
- Referral program paying up to $1,000 per referral
Home time
- Home daily, running local routes
Schedule
- Full-time, with shifts available any day Monday through Sunday
- Typically 4-5 days a week
- About 400 miles per day
Requirements
- At least 1 year of CDL-A driving experience
- Clean MVR/PSP record
- Able to pass a criminal background check
- Physically able to handle the job: lifting up to 50 lbs overhead, climbing in and out of the cab using three points of contact, coupling trailers from the catwalk, pushing/pulling carts over 100 lbs, releasing the fifth-wheel lock, cranking landing gear, inspecting the trailer pin connection, and sitting/driving for at least 4 hours straight
